This brand is made by NORTEK GLOBAL HVAC and is sold through dealers in the USA and Canada. 

The ES4BD models are basic units that feature all aluminum coils for durability and a composite base pan for quieter operation. They feature micro-channel construction which results in a compact unit and they have a louvered metal exterior to protect the condenser coil from damage. The 25.5 SEER unit has IQ DRIVE which combines state of the art inverter rotary compressor technology with advanced humidity control. They have a swept wing fan and compressor sound blanket for quieter operating and are backed by a good warranty. 


This brand is made by GOODMAN MANUFACTURING for TRADEWINDS DISTRIBUTING COMPANY and the units are only available in the USA through authorized dealers. The WAC44 model is a basic unit with a compressor blanket for quieter operation but their warranty is not as good as other brands. The WGAC48 is a premium model that is backed by a very good guarantee. All of the units use louvered panel construction to protect the condenser coil from physical damage.


This brand is a part of JOHNSON CONTROLS. The YCS units are basic models with micro-channel coils for a more compact unit. They have louvered metal panels to protect the coil from damage but their guarantee is not as good as many of the other brands. The CZH units in their AFFINITY SERIES are premium units with their Quiet Drive system including a swept wing fan and composite basepan. They are backed by a very good guarantee that includes lifetime on the compressor when the unit is registered but they are only available through their dealer network in the USA.
