Biomass boiler ratings part 5 continues our reviews with a look at the CTC, CTL, CTM, CT Pasqualicchio, and DaVinci brands.

The ECOFLEX boilers are only available in one size (15kw) but they feature advanced microprocessor controls and a three step burner. They offer an optional domestic hot water heat exchanger. Their website is not much help and the guarantee on the heat exchanger is not as good as many brands. The brand is made in Sweden and is a part of ENERTECH AB. The units are available in Australia and New Zealand as well as throughout Europe but only through their authorized distributors.

This brand is made in Italy and is available in four sizes. The CELLAR 25-35 boilers offer optional dhw production but their website is not much help.

CTM------------  ctm-italia.it  ---------<1* 

The MAGIKFIRE boilers feature automatic electronic controls and are available in three sizes. The POLIFIRE units can burn nut shells as well as wood pellets and features gasification technology for clean burning. The units are made in Italy but the guarantee on the heat exchanger is not very good when compared to other brands.

CT PASQUALICCHIO--ctpasqualicchio.it--<1*

The CONTINOLA SV2 units are clean burning pellet boilers that are available in five sizes and have digital modulating controls. They also offer boilers than can burn logs as well as pellets but the warranty is not as good as some other brands. The CS MARINA models (shown here) can burn nut shells as well as wood pellets for central heating while the CSB MARINA also produces domestic hot water. The units are available through authorized dealers in Italy.

These boilers are from DIV IMPEX LTD and are sold in Europe. The K38 range can burn corn as well as wood pellets and features automatic electronic controls. Their website is not much help and the guarantee on the heat exchanger is not very good when compared to other brands.
