The GWB8-E units are basic cast iron units that are available in nine different sizes to match the heating requirements of virtually any home but the standard warranty is not as good as many other brands. The GWB8-IE series units use sealed combustion for higher operating efficiency but the standard warranty is not as good as many other brands. They are available in six sizes to match the heating requirements of your home. The GWM-IE units (pictured here) are condensing boilers with the ability to modulate their capacity to closely match the heating needs of the home. They have stainless steel burners and heat exchangers for durability and are backed by a pretty good warranty. The units are available in the USA and Canada but only through their dealer network.
The SOLUTION series (pictured here) offers two stage boilers with stainless steel burners, copper tube heat exchanger, and a ceramic tile combustion chamber for durability. The units can be vented through pvc pipe with an optional kit that includes an inducer motor. The CADET models are compact wall-hung modulating boilers. They have outdoor reset control for added energy savings but the warranty on the heat exchanger is not very good. The brand is available worldwide but only through their sales representatives.
These boilers are made and sold in the U.K. through authorized installers. The HE A is a wall-hung condensing boiler that is available in five sizes but the guarantee on the heat exchanger is not very good when compared to other brands. The brand is from BAXI which is a part of BDR THERMEA.
This brand is a subsidiary of BURNHAM HOLDINGS INC. and is available through dealers in parts of the USA. The CG-D series offers cast iron atmospheric boilers in four sizes. They have intermittent pilots and automatic vent dampers for added efficiency but the warranty is not as good as many brands. The PVCG units (shown here) are induced draft boilers that can be direct vented so a conventional chimney is not required but the warranty is not as good as some other brands.
