Evaporative Cooler Ratings, A Repairman Ranks The Brands...

With our evaporative cooler ratings, you can cut through all the sales hype and find value. We have researched brands from all over the world and by using our years of hvac service experience produced our unique system of ratings. It truly is like taking a repairman shopping with you!

We have separated our evaporative cooler ratings into five different groups to make it easier to find the right unit for your needs. We have given each brand a rating of from 1 to 5 stars. A 5* rating means that, if we were shopping for our own home, that is the brand we would choose (if it was available). When more than one brand has the 5* rating, we would choose the least expensive model. If an NA appears in the place of stars it means the brand does not have a unit available in that group or we could not get enough information to accurately rate them.

For your convenience, we have included the web addresses of the manufacturers. We have also included our comments regarding the advantages/disadvantages of their products.
