These fireplaces are made in France by ALELIER DOMINIQUE IMBERT and are available internationally. The PICTOFOCUS models are available in two sizes and have an ultra modern look with a large curved glass for viewing the fire. They have electronic controls with a remote and a battery backup for times when the main power to the home goes out. The OMEGAFOCUS model is like a work of art hanging on the wall and features a facade of ripped steel.
These units are from FLINT CLIFFS MANUFACTURING and are sold through dealers in the USA. They feature dual fuel units that are designed to circulate the air in the room by natural circulation instead of a blower. This is good in case of a power outage. They offer zero clearance units as well as see-through units to allow views of the fire from two different rooms. The warranty on the units is not as good as many other brands.
These fireplaces are made in the U.K. and are sold there and in Ireland but only through their authorized dealer network.
The STUDIO gas fires offer a variety of options and feature a shallow firebox design making them easier to fit into those tight spaces. They have programmable remote controls for convenience and balanced flue units for energy savings. They are available in portrait and landscape styles as well as a see-through model but the guarantee on the units is not as good as other brands.
This brand offers a wide variety of models/styles and is a part of BFM EUROPE. They offer high efficiency fireplaces but they are only available through authorized retailers in the U.K. Their website is not much help and the warranty on the units is not very good when compared to other brands.
