HVAC Contractors, A Guide To Finding A Pro...

Not all hvac contractors are equal and, because of that, this guide is designed to help you to select the best heating and air conditioning pro. Now, you can get free estimates from up to four different local heating and air conditioning contractors. With this simple service, you simply select your project, give your name and phone number, and then quality local professionals will call you to give you a quote on your project. You are under no obligation and your information will not be shared with anyone else.

By submitting your information, you are agreeing to be contacted by up to 4 Networx approved contractors. The contractors will contact you and offer their services - you are under no obligation to commit to or hire any of the contractors. The service is provided to help facilitate the search for a quality, licensed contractor for your property. Some of our services include: insect control, tile repair, heating service, apartment cleaning, and much more.

When searching for an expert, there are some basic things to check to eliminate many of the sub-standard companies. First of all, ask if they are insured then get the name of their insurance company and give them a call to verify that they have coverage. In some states, hvac pros must be licensed and a company must have at least one employee that has a valid state license. You can find out if your state requires a license on your state's webpage. If your state requires a license, ask the prospective dealer to see a copy of their license certificate and verify that it is current.

Next, you can check with the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office for your state to see if they have a history of complaints. You should also ask for at least three references from previous customers. Then, take the time and either call them or preferrably go to their home to check out the contractor's work.

It is a good idea to do all of the above and create a list of three approved pros. Then, you can begin to get quotes for your project and find the best value.

If you are looking for a good career, the heating and cooling industry is a place where you can find a pretty stable job. You can even start out working for other hvac contractors to gain experience and then start your own business.
